MSD 2 Step vs LNC 2 Step

These both sell for about the same price. It looks like the MSD is just plug and play, very easy to install. Does anyone have any comparisons of the two or recommend one over the other?

They are both plug n play but both require a clutch switch to activate, that's where the Lingenfelter CTAP-01 comes into play. I have a MSD 2 step sitting on the shelf because it caused a misfire. Go with the Lingenfelter stuff.

The LNC can be activated by a clutch or brake pedal, turns down to 2000+, retards timing and cuts spark so you can or will get some back fire with it too. Have not installed mine but talked to the guys at Lingenfelter, they were very informative and helpful.

Thanks. I wasn't aware that these also needed a clutch switch to activate. For those that have this installed, was it worth the money? What kind of improvement did you see.

If anyone sees these on sale for Black Friday please let me know. Thanks

The Lingenfelter CTAP-01 is the switch. Mine is inline withe the clutch pedal.
