14/15 ZL1 OR 16 2SS
I am considering trading out of my 14 1SS within a year or so and I am stuck between a 14/15 ZL1 or a 16 2SS. I see 14/15 ZL1 for around 45-50 which is the same as a 16 2SS .. Which would be the better buy? I know there 2 different cars but wouldn't it be smarter to get a ZL1 vs a 16 2SS ? I just feel like you get more car now on the new SS .

ZL1 is more car (good and bad) than a 2SS 6th gen. Do what's best for you.

ZL1. You never want a first year car, nor an ugly car for that matter

Get the ZL1. There are many low mileage units within reach I'm sure. Also , any opinion on how to spend your money that deviates from my recommendation should be disregarded.

Rough choice considering that the price is going to be a wash.
Maybe hold out and wait for the '17 Gen6 that has the bugs worked out? Maybe you could score a leftover '15 ZL1 on the 20% off sale. |

Well of course I'm going to say ZL1......
![]() The car is a beast and one of the truly modern muscle cars of our time. If you want a old school muscle car with newer tech = ZL1 If you want a smaller sports car with the latest interior tech = 16' 2SS
