ZL1 Jack points

I know this topic has been beat to death, but I can't find any info on these 2 locations whether or not they are safe to use a jack on. I had a jack pad and had 2 very unfortunate events happen with it so I won't use one ever again. Can anyone tell me if these points are ok? If not, any suggestions? I have a pretty long low profile jack so I can get to most of the sturdy stuff under there.

That's where the tire shop lifted my car. Not ideal apparently but works

At home I have a small ramp that I drive up on one side to get clearance than use my jack with a block of wood on the solid cross beam towards the very front of the car

That beam would be ideal for me as well except for the splash shield on it (or aero kit). The ZL1 has that area all covered up with plastic so at best I'd be guessing where that bar is.

Get your jack pads from ZL1Addons.com, they work perfectly and also get your rock guards from him while your at it.

I had the jack pad and the car slid off of it twice. I'm not going to risk using it again.

Harbor Freight low profile 3 ton rapid pump jack. Same one I use on all the cars I work on. It is definitely not a problem with the jack.

Yeah it's weird. I have one of the older ones that the groove in the middle isn't as deep as the new one so that might be why, but I am not sure I want to verify that.

Hmmm. I might. I'll be honest, though.. Having the car up in the air on that jack and having it slip off of this thing twice is one of the scariest things I have ever experienced lol. Not real sure if I want to try another time. Is he a member on here?

I have the red ones and have not had a problem at all with them. I have a snap-on jack which has a little deeper pocket [if that is what it is called] and I make double sure it is centered exactly on the lift pad and it has not moved at all. Your jack may be the problem.
