Rusting Headers!!! Is that covered under warranty!?

I was doing an oil change last night and I noticed alot of rust on my headers where it meats up with the exhaust....Is this something that would be covered under warranty!? The car is only a year old for crying out loud....

Seriously...

1. They aren't headers, they're exhaust manifolds.
2. They rust immediately.
3. No chance in hell they'd be warranty because, guess what, the new ones would rust immediately as well.

You must be joking to be worried about something so mundane. Maybe you should remove those boat anchors and put some ceramic coated long tubes one!!!

It's not something to worry about, though a new set of long tubes would go nicely with all the other mods you've done :P

Thanks for the suggestion and attitude...probably could of done without the latter...If I considered myself sound in this area I would not of posted a question....

So thanks and get over yourself.

yes you can get headers for a v6.. just not Kooks. Doug Thorely headers seem to be a preference for V6 owners

All I can think of is the Gieco commercial with the guy whose been living under a rock. On a serious note, you can get your cast iron manifolds coated as well.

All iron factory manifolds get surface rust... nothing to worry about.
