"18 wheels + big break or ZL1/CTSV setup?
Anyone running a big brake setup or ZL1/CTSV caliper setup with 18" wheels for road course racing (and daily driving)?

I tried, but they rubbed without spacers, so I went to 19, then back to the 20's.....Although the f1 g2's are not slicks and I HATED them until I REALLY figured them out.... I love the even, always the same break away. I have not used another tire that can be controlled by the throttle, as well as these can.

If the only issue is rubbing, then perhaps all you need is the right offsets. What wheels did you try 18" with? Do you still remember the specs of the wheels?

I have 18x11 forgestar cf5v square and was told they will clear the CTSV brakes as I plan on doing the upgrade in the near future. A buddy has the same wheels on his mustang with a 6 piston big brake kit and they fit. Forgestar said I had to get that model as it has the most room for big brakes. FYI, 18's look a little small in the wheel well. Mine are just for the track and I wouldn't want them for DD.

Apex ARC-8's here, 18x9.5" ET35. Also had Miro type 112's 18x9.5" ET32. Both cleared with a spacer so the barrel size is not an issue.
