Question 2018 2SS Day-Night sensor position.

Where is the day-night sensor that controls whether or not the headlights are on or off located? I recently had the car completely detailed - in and out. Afterward, the headlights are on during the day - most of the time, yet sometimes they're off as would be normal. They are on at night. Any clues where the sensor is and whether or not something may be somehow blocking it?

im not sure on my ZL1, i know my truck is like a little bubble on the top of the dash, so it can "see or sense" the light from outside thru the windshield
