No sound from my speakers

About 3 or 4 times now my radio has just stopped working. It's happened while listening to my iPod but it's also happened when I'm listening to FM radio. The display still works and tells me what station I'm on, but there is no sound from the speakers. Even the Bluetooth lady won't speak to me when I push the Bluetooth button. But I know the Bluetooth is working because I waited a second and told it to call a number and it did but I couldn't hear the person on the other line. So the mic works, and the radio and USB input work, it's just not playing any sound from the speakers.

Have any of you experienced that or have any idea what is wrong? I searched around other posts but didn't find this issue.

Thanks.

first time I have heard of this, but I know what you need to do, go directly to your dealer.

Yeah I'm gonna call the dealer today. It's weird because the turn signals and seat belt warning don't make any sound either.

Really big issue if this happens, you definitely need to take it in. Does this by chance only occur in the morning if it is cold? Also, when was your Camaro purchased?

I had a similar issue when I used to have my 1st Gen iPhone connected via USB and a Sirius Starmate 4 connect to Aux-in. After I had the PDIM firmware updated to verison "CD" (from first factory version "CC") the Sirius would stop playing through the speakers and not come back until I unplugged the iPhone.

Since I stopped using the iPhone and went with the new version iPod Nano (5th gen of course) connected to the USB this hasn't happened again.
