mods for a better top end?

What's out there for us? I'm happy with my out of the gate performance. Went an abandoned airfield and messed around with a focus st, and out of the gate things were great however once I hit 3 - 4th gear things got bad.
Current mods roto-fab cai, throttle body slp loudmouth 2 and ipf tune.

We're you running nitrous when you did? I'm a bit turned off by the idea of it

Do the down pipes make that big of a difference? Seems to be the only thing I don't have that you do. I may just need a driver mod lol he blew past me around 3rd lol

He didn't say so I'm not sure, I had assumed he was stock. Silly question but there's no way my tune didn't take is there? I had just installed exhaust that day so it's hard to say but I didn't feel a huge difference

High flow cats and an intake scoop are easy bolt-on upgrades that will help. Particularly the scoop because they really start to shine above 3000 RPM.

Love the scoop. I can finally hear the CAI over my exhaust again

Haven't dynoed it, but I can definitely feel a difference in the higher rpm range. I mean if I can audibly hear it sucking in more air, than I'm assuming it's sucking in more air haha. It's a pretty neat device. I mean get up to 70 mph and air is pretty much being forced onto/into the filter.

Right, it basically forces a huge amount of ambient air into the air box so that your engine has all the cool air it could possibly need. Shameless marketers refer to it as "Ram Air". On a dyno it only shows about a 5 rwhp gain but the problem is that the car is not moving on a dyno so you can't really get a real world result. On the street you can feel a noticeable different above 3000RPM so we know it is considerably more that 5 rwhp.

I love my scoop. REALLY opened up the CAI and let breathe.
I added the scoop a couple months afterc the CAI
Was very noticeable on my first trip out.

We have had many customers add the scoop to their cars with the Airaid but you have to cut out the bottom of the air box. The stock inlet feeds all intake systems but most of the others enclose the whole front corner so that snorkel piece you are referring to isn't needed.
