Can't get railway automated service to understand me.
This is just driving me nuts...lol I call and try to get the railcar initials to go through on the automated answering service and it just can't understand what I'm saying.I've tried entering it using my keypad but that's not working either.Anyone know what else I might try? Did you all have trouble with this?

The first number you press should be the one that the letter is on, the next number should be the position of the letter on that number, for example:
if your initials are ETTX, you would press 32 81 81 92, then your number, mine is 853614, so all together i press 32818192, then 853614. Hope this helps

That worked! I had tried that before but must have been doing something wrong or wasn't going far enough into the process..Thanks so much!!

lol i had the same problem i had to lock my self in a empty room so it it real quiet and speak clearly.

FYI.. If CSX carried your car out of Oshawa, they WILL track it all the way to where it is unloaded..
And yes the Union Pacific Automated Female doesn't listen very well..

Whenever I am in the mid-west or south traveling, I always joke with the locals who has the accent. They say I have a NY accent, and I say they have a mid-west accent and we laugh. You just proved my point, the automated rail system understood my "NY ACCENT" fine. So it really is you mid-westerners that have the accent!!

Now that is funny! A New Yorker and a Southern Belle arguing which of them has an accent. Heck, I'm from out west and have trouble understanding either of you. JK. Really I am just a little jealous that you both are talking about tracking your cars while I am still just waiting for my TPW to arrive. Enjoy your new Camaros!
