Testing battery?
My Camaro is almost 6 yrs old. I see where some members have already replaced 4 and 5 year old batteries. Can the battery be tested from under the hood or should it be tested directly from the trunk?

Most auto parts places like Kragen or Napa will do a load test for free. Load test is the best way to test a battery. It only takes a few minutes. Just leave the battery in place, turn the engine off.
If you need to replace the battery I would get a AGM ( All Glass Matt Battery). They are great. Interstate Batteries make a real affordable great one. |

A load test is best, as stated and must be done at the battery for best results. Not sure it can be done anywhere else.
