Would you put the A10 in your Gen 5?

Go for it.

Too early to tell. If it has at least equal or greater holding power than the a6 it may be something to consider. Often the more gears the fewer clutch friction plates surface area. This has happened going from the 4l80 to the 6l80-90. The computers can be figured out and are often part of the transmission anyway.

With enough $$$ almost anything can be done.

1) How much to make it work?
2) Are the gains (if any) worth the price?

I'm sure someone will try at some point.

Depends on your power level.
The more horsepower you make the fewer gear changes are needed.

I've often said the same thing in the past; the aftermarket has almost always proven me wrong

Love those Tank Killer jets...

The sound of their 50 cal guns firing are awesome.

See then all the time when I'm in Tucson.

No. I have the M6 and I'm not a fan of GM autos. So many bad experiences. I hope they prove me wrong some day.
