Stripped bolts

I stripped the bolt for the from seat,when trying to remove it.any recommendations?

if the bolt head is rounded, sears sell sockets that are designed to remove striped bolts

The bolt is round with the star pattern on the inside.

If it were me, I would chisel out a line through the middle, effectively turning it into a flat head style bolt, and use the biggest screw driver I've got to remove it. A grinder would make short work as well. Or you could a small section off of two sides and get a wrench on it... Either way, make sure you have a supply of beer, it makes the process easier!

Try an easy out. As long as there is a hole in the center already, drill it out and insert the easy out.
