Finished getting the first of more serious engine mods done today. Dyno of stock + rotofab CAI + ported TB overlayed with final attached:
Current setup: 10" Lower LPE Pulley and Balancer Kooks 1 7/8" Headers w/o Cats ID850 Injectors Rotofab CAI Ported CMAX 87mm TB Rotofab extra coolant reservoir Custom mild to wild toggle switch I wired up Tune From talking with shop owner, Meth injection would really help here in the high end for HP / Torque which I'm not too terribly concerned about as 99% of my driving is between 2-5k RPM. The dyno room was about 95 degrees too so probably around 600hp out in the open cool Portland, OR weather. I had him tune it conservatively as I want this car to last a lifetime. The redline is still 6250RPM also. I'm not in a horsepower war or anything and am more happy with the low end 600 ft lbs of torque slam and demon roar the headers added than anything. We talked about adding the voltage booster for the fuel pump, but figured meth inj would knock out 2 birds with one stone (heat soak and fuel additive) rather than the booster. Plus coming from an electrical background I don't think long term over voltage to the fuel pump to get more pressure could be a good thing... The 10" lower pulley also added more boost than expected. I had gone off charts I've seen that said the 10" was a little less boost than the 9.6 + 2.55 upper / lower pulley combo. It was not, at least in my case, and put out about 16psi boost even with headers! So keep that in mind if you're planning the lower pulley only route. Pulley, Injectors, Headers, before and after dyno runs, and Tune were only $4500 which I thought was very good for the amount of work required. Also might barter computer work with the shop and possibly get the meth inj for free. Will see what comes of that... These are real world results not from a vendor or someone that is in a hp competition on the dyno. I'm going to drive thousands of miles with this setup. I'm hopeful for any feedback, ideas, etc on my progress thus far. I was on a budget so a diff cam, heads, etc was not something I wanted to pursue at this time. Just wanted to get some more ooompf when I step on it which definitely seems to be accomplished from what I've experienced. Excited to go cruise now!

Instead of the Meth, do a BTR3 cam and Boost-a-pump. It will lower the boost, make less heat, and make a ton more power. Around 700 rwhp.

The cam would be expensive and most peeps I know need meth inj anyway after getting a cam put in. Also the type of meth kit we were discussing and tune he would do would allow the engine to still run fine if it ran out by chance and would also be a kit that would only add it when needed. I think he said AEM but I haven't looked into it.
