Harmonic Balancer keyway??
I just added an underdrive pulley to my car and there wasn't a keyway in the stock pulley. Why?? That kind of freaks me out and makes me a little worried!! When did they start doing this?

4th gens didn't have a keyway either. I only see keyways in aftermarket cranks.

It's not an externally balanced motor. The lower pulley is just a harmonic dampener, not a balancer as was the SB and BB of old

LS motors since 1997 have not been keyed.

Correct. My 98 has no key way and it freaked me out.
