Ya know I was just thinking how insane this car is. (in a good way) I mean it has 400 hp. Think about that. 400! I remember 10 years ago I was buying my 99 GMC Sonoma smiling from ear to ear because it had a 190hp V6. Think of all the cars you've driven that were made in the last 10 years how many had half the power it does!

wish i could say i've driven a camaro.... let alone a V8.... but i never have.... but i digress

Driving a '99 buick regal, i thought that was a rocketship with 240hp supercharged, i used to grin from ear to ear driving that! with 400(+) under my foot.... oh the thought of it brings a smile to my face

Half the weight? So what you are saying is that there are lots of vehicles on the road weighing in at around 1900#? Wow, that's news to me.

Most vehicles weigh in about the 3300lb mark... But they're generally a lot smaller of a car, too...

And my 195HP 265ft/lbs Blazer (2 door, 5-speed, 4x4) weighs in at 4400lbs...

I think bact to 1977, when after a 2 year hiatis, the Z28 came back in the spring of 1977 as a 1977 1/2......and it had fewer HP then the current V6, in fact, it bosted a whopping 185 h.p...... And we thought it was a screamer at the time.....times have certainly changed for the better.

lol. The 426hp is a whooper alright, I love it. No, shes not the fastest, but shes fast. Its a great package, awesome bang for the buck, and I love it. Every Camaro wont always be the best car, but era for era, it always stuck out, always made teenagers drool, and will always define what being young is always about, whether you are, or you are not, it will give you that special feeling oh, "Man, what a ride!"
