interchangeable appearance parts?

Im starting to put a list together of parts to revamp the appearance of my 2015 2ls. As of right now I am looking for factory parts such as off a ss, 1le, or maybe a zl1 that would bolt right on. Ive read that the 1le rear diffuser is a direct bolt on and allows for dual tips I want to make sure thats true before buying one and Im also wondering if there are any options for the front of the car. I just put on a billet grille that was sold to fit ss and rs models and the only problem is that since my front end does not come with that chrome piece that goes along the top of the headlights and grille theres a weird looking gap. Can that piece be put onto front end or will i have to buy a whole ss or rs one? I am also interested in front splitters as I have read that some advertised for ss models will fit my car model. Does anyone have any information on that?

Try www.gmpartsdirect.com for part numbers and fitments.

The "1LE diffuser" fits the V6 - this diffuser is actually the one you get if you get the factory performance exhaust, AKA "NPP", so it isn't really the "1LE diffuser" but rather the "NPP diffuser" (just sayin'...) and it is most certainly compatible with the V6 (if you need more confirmation, I bought and installed one on my 1LT). The ZL1 diffuser also fits, and if you intend to get the splash guards you may want to consider getting the ZL1 diffuser instead as the bottom of the diffuser slops outward to tie into the gaurds (something I wish I had thought of ).

Regarding the splitter, I've heard the V8 splitter is not a perfrect fit for the V6 but it can fit with some dicking around, but it also appears that GM makes one specifically for the V6 (http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/index.p...scia-extension).

oh well thanks for clearing that up. Ive seen it referred to as the 1le diffuser someone where on here before so I just went with that because I wasn't really sure what to call it. Thanks for that link Ill definitely be looking through there. I hope it doesn't take to much dicking around haha Ill keep looking in the aftermarket for a splitter I like and ask around to see if I can make it fit. Thanks again.

The 5th gen RS front bumper with the chrome strip above the headlights is slightly different than the non RS bumper. The RS front bumper has provisions to accept the chrome molding. Non RS models don't have them.

However, to fill in the gap, you can always go to the local auto parts store and get that self adhesive chrome molding strip. It comes in many different widths down to 1/8". Then, just simply cut to fit and apply to the underside of the bumper above the headlight area to fill in the gap.
