What is that??
I still dont have my camaro but when i was staring at my computer wallpaper i noticed something on the winshield facing side of the rear view mirror. Can anybody with a camaro tell me what that is??

Cant put a pic now im on my phone. It looks something like a camera on the right side if your looking at it from outside. Like a white circle

I think you are referring to the photosensor (or whatever term they would use for it). It detects the ambient light levels outside your car and allows the computer to control the automatic headlight behavior.
Of course thats just a guess at what you're talking about, and I could be wrong on every point. I like to pretend its a deathray for use on minivans and prius (is the multiple form or prius priuses, or prii? cactuses/cactii?) that get in my way. Hasnt worked yet, I think I need to give it more time to power up before I blow past my target...

Funny how I've never noticed this thing.....so promptly headed outside to see wtf? I still don't know, but I do know that the automatic headlight control is the small round blister on the dash, it's that way w/most GM vehicles I've seen since 2002.
My guess is that 'thing' has something to with the auto-dimming rear view mirror although that doesn't sound likely b/c the to dim headlights are coming through you back glass. I'm gonna check this feature out as soon as it gets dark and come back here....until someone comes up with the real answer, then it will be fun to speculate.
