Hotchkis Sway Bar Question
In 2013, I ordered a Hotchkis Competion Suspension Kit (F and R sway bars and rear endlinks) P/N 22110. I never even opened the box till this weekend as I had deferred my suspension upgrade for other things. I now have an issue as the 22110 seems to be advertised for 2010-2011 Camaros only. Hotchkis now has a P/N 22112 for 2012+ Gen 5 Camaros.
I have a 2013 2LT Convertible (V6). I've seen on a thread on this site (see below: JDP Sales) advertising the Hotchkis 22110 as fitting the 2010-2015 V6 models and 10-11 SS. Don't know if there is a configuration difference between the LT and the SS after 2011?? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...hkis+sway+bars I can reach anyone at Hotchkis today (holiday) to confirm. Just wondering whether any V6 owners of 2013 models have installed the 22110 kit on their cars? This kit has the beefier rear sway bar (1.375"). If I can't use the 22110, I have a BRAND NEW set in the box... thanks! |

For anyone this may interest, the answer from Hotchkis is yes, the previous P/N 22110 will fit. Apparently, the V8 rear sway bar configuration did change in 2012 and again in 2013 when some electronics were introduced. Does not affect the LT.
