2013/2013 ZL1's Now Selling in the High 20's / Low 30's
I don't know if anybody else sees this their area, but I've been checking the price of used 5th gen ZL1's since the introduction of the 6th gen and noticed that prices just took a substantial nosedive. They were holding very steadily at $40k for any decently low-mileage example through the end of 2016.
Now, I am noticing that many of these low-mileage examples are going for the low 30's, and some high-mileage examples (50k or so) are selling in the high 20's. That's pretty insane, given the performance of this car. I guess all the original owners are starting to trade these in for newer toys, especially as the warranties begin to run out. Well I am a rag top guy, and yes they have come down. But a rag top is still about $40,000 . Give or take a little. Still, it is way down from what they were. Making me want one I know. But that payment will still be almost $200.00 more a month that my 2012 2SS/RS.

I would be careful of buying a ZL1 at high $20's , or low $30's, specially with +40K miles. Even-tho those miles are very low for the vehicle , but if the Z was track hard, then those miles could be doubled, or even tripped. It all depends on the previous owner. I am assuming the guy who bought the Z was to track it.
