I know many of you have tried and know the in and outs of both of these amps. I just want to know which do you think is the best in providing a clean powerful soundstage with great stereo separation and dynamic range?

While they are both class D amplifiers, this is like comparing a Chevy to a Lexus.

The Alpine PDX series has better specs and heritage providing amplification for non-sub applications second to no one in this price range.

I haven't tried the JL HD600 and I know you are asking for a comparison. However I can tell you that I have the PDX-6 in two cars now and they are very awesome clean amps loaded with power and clarity.
