SLP Loudmouth 1 Installed

Finally decided on an Axle Back "exhaust" and went with the SLP Loudmouth 1. After reading multiple threads I determined it was the best way for me to get a deep and aggressive tone without much cabin drone. The resonator (L99) indeed helps with the drone. I took her on a bypass and cruised at 65-70 with minimal to no drone compared to stock with just a CAI. The install was super easy. I watched a couple install videos that helped with tips, suck as using a zip tie to get my cut mark uniform around the stock pipe, and using WD40 to get the stock hangers off the rubber. I also did it in my driveway with jack stands, as I don't have ready access to a lift anymore. Everything took about an hour, and a lot of that was wiggling joints around to get them to match. All in all, I am super happy with the results. I feel I wouldn't have been as successful without the passive assistance of members here. Thanks guys!

From what I have seen before, isn't the Loudmouth I more or less a muffler delete?

Is there some sort of resonated section on there?

Get us a video!!! We wanna hear it!

You are correct in that the Loudmouth1 is essentially a muffler delete. It's a nice and easy end user install of just a straight (objectionable) pipe and some tips. No additional resonator...

My son reving...

That Loudmouth I is different, but jesus it sounded amazing.

I had it on my 1995 Trans AM. It includes 2 large hollow resonators. That's why I was wondering if this one had resonators on it or not.

TC - Sounds great! Gotta love that rumble!

I have the full SLP headers, X-pipe, no cats, no mufflers, Cammed, + heads..... super loud and lots of drone. Looking at replacing the resonators with bullet mufflers for the larger CI build I am finishing up.

This is what my car came with when I bought it. It sounded pretty good. Ended up giving it up for SW retro catback though.

Man that sounds amazing. Also, I just love it when my dog strolls out right in front of my car as I'm trying to go somewhere HAHA!
