ZL1 Fog lamp upgrade
I currently have the ZL1 factory fog lamps on my ZLRS and one just went out on the passenger side this evening. I am looking to upgrade to the LEDs. Which would be the better way to go?? Would the 80 watt be overkill or would the 50 watt be just the right amount of bright white?

There is an HID alternative. I have the Zl1 front clip, and I replaced the factory fogs (which I think were hologens) with HID bulbs. Sorry don't remember the brand or wattage, but I think they were 50 watts. These are whiter and brighter than the stock units, and also broadcast a wide low beam like a fog light should. The fog lens is glass so heat isn't a problem. I'll see if I can track down the bulbs I bought.
