1LE Tire Rotation - and alternatives
I went in to Goodyear get an oil change. My rear tires are wearing more than the fronts, so I asked them to rotate the tires and made sure they knew the rear wheels are wider so they wouldn't just swap the wheels. This produced a 10 minute conversation going around in circles trying to get them to understand that it came stock from the factory with the same size tire all the way around. And one of these guys owns a Camaro. They essentially refused to swap out the tires saying that you can't swap wheel sizes on a tire like that.
What's the deal? What are you guys doing about rotations? Also - what are you using for dailies, other than Eagle F1s. |

Your rear rims are wider than front, so they'd have to remove the tires to rotate if you really want the rear tires to the front and vice versa

Yeah, that's the problem - they don't want to remove the tires and swap them off of the wheels. They told me it shouldn't be done.

Yep, you just don't rotate them unless you want to break down the tires. Not worth the risk of the shop damaging the wheels in the process. Search through the forum on other tire choices. A lot of people seem to like the MPSS for dailies
