MyLink Q for 2013-2015 Models

Hi,

I have been getting this message after moving my iTunes acct from Apple account to Windows based PC. Any ideas folks? The music plays and graphics come onto the screen, behind the error. If you click the OK or change volume it switches back to FM radio. The Infotainment book has Zero troubleshooting since it was new technology in 2013. The system was even the exception to the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty

Thanks for any insight. I even tried reconfiguration to factory settings, did nothing.

Wow! Just looked at the MyLink pictured here and realized it said 122 degrees on it. Looked at the location and it is Phoenix, AZ. That's some kind of hot!

What are you playing... an iPod? And how are you connecting to the Mylink with it?

Holy high-res picture!

Best seen on a 60 inch TV.

Last Gen iPod classic is compatible with MyLink, with 30 pin puter cable as always. Only diff lately is where iTunes is housed, on windows instead of Mac.

Phx, it's hot. The Camaro seems to run a bit hotter than normal by about 4 degrees. Yeah, we're in the throws of summer, thank God we have low humidity.

For now. We're getting into monsoon season (technically we already are). Soon it will be humid and still ~110+. I've gotten mine up to 139F while stuck on I10 in traffic, though above ~105 the readings from the temp sensor are pretty off.

Anyway, a few things to check on your iPod
1) Since you moved to the new PC, did you resync all your music to the device? I seem to recall iPods wiping all stored music when they sync to a new PC.
2) Have you tried Bluetooth? (I dunno if they support it)
3) Latest iOS on your device? (well, latest it supports)
4) Last resort, try ripping the music from iTunes onto a flash drive? (I use a thumb drive myself)

Right now, just 2 play lists uploaded. Just finished uploading 120 CDs and 30 Christmas CDs. My daughter is going thru the albums, to make sure all is right and getting cover art for non album iTunes ie, hard to find, unusual CDs and track down itunes singles I paid for. Should be syncing this weekend. I also got a solid state back up drive for father's day so we don't have to go thru this again when my puter dies.

Thanks for your assistance! After the upload, I'll post again

Just uploaded my Nano with the Christmas CDs, so I have cover art. I connected to the Camaro & Voila. Wow, not ready for Christmas tunes! Issue resolved. Now onto the 6th Gen classic, upload all my regular music, later today.
