My Camaro Confession

OK guys, Camaro Confession time.

Make a confession of something you do or have done, involving your new Camaro or... (a new Camaro).

Doesn't have to be a bad thing, but just something you don't go around telling everyone because it's either ridiculous/silly or embarassing or something along that line.

I'll go first !!!

I Camaro Confess that sometimes I miss my car so much, and I'm so proud of my car that I pretend that I "forgot" something in the car, or in the trunk, just so that I will have an excuse to either pull out the keys, flash the gorgeous halo's thereby showing the world it's MINE.... and then just rummaging for a minute (not actually getting anything) spending a quality moment with the car and locking her up (making sure it beeps) and going back to whatever I was doing or just strutting away proudly.

Let's hear some Camaro confessions !! Feel free to put mine to shame.

Andddd we already know that SOOCH likes to "deliver mail" to his Camaro.
(Still haunted by the photo + the oddly suspicious toy in the background)

Every singe night I go and peek into the garage and make sure the kids are tucked in. I usually walk away with a very big smile on my face thinking... damn I have a sweet car!

Mine is not a daily driver, but when I decide to take it out, after 3 months my stomach still does a little flip of excitement each and every time. All this over a car.......

When I return home from my racing trips, I'll go visit my Camaros in the garage. Of course that comes after seeing my wife and kids but not long after.

I've waited so long for the return of this car that sometimes I can't believe I have it. In the past several years I bought cars to try and fill the void of not having a Camaro. A
2004 GTO, nope didn't do it, 2006 GTO, nope didn't do it, 2008 Solstice, nope, a no go.
I sold a 1997 30th Anniversary Z28(white with hugger orange stripes). Big mistake!!!
I've never been able to right that wrong until now. This car is everything and more.
I will keep it forever and will never make that mistake again.

My Camaro Confession...

OK...I Camaro Confess that it now takes me MUCH longer to get home from work every day, because I just have to take the long way home to get in an extra 15-20 minutes of driving!

Anyone else...?

I Camaro Confess that last night at a restaurant I got up to "use the restroom" and went outside to take a peek.

Get it? I didn't "take a pee". I "took a peek".

Wow. Tough crowd.

I always find an excuse to go somewhere and make "accidental" wrong turns all the time .

When I drive it in to work I make occasional trips to the parking garage to check on it. If someone has parked next to me I don't like I move it. If there is a better parking space, I move it. I even measure the other cars doors after I get out to be sure they can't swing into my car. If I don't like the inspeciton I move to another space until I'm comfortable with the surrounding vehicles. I look for wide parking spaces where the trucks park. Those are the best ones as pickup doors are short. Small SUVs are good to park next to for the same reason. Most people respect the Camaro though.

I did something similar. I let my last Camaro go for all the wrong reasons. Never doing that again. At least I fulfilled the promise to myself. To replace it someday. With something even better.
