Retro fitting OEM gauge cluster advice please

Hi everyone, I have a 2010 SS and as you know these don't come with the guage cluster. I've just purchased one that I think says 2013 on. I know I need a harness but first question is is the 2013 cluster compatible with my 2010 and what harness will work.

Hope you can help

Thanks

GEN5 DIY for harnesses. One note. The photos show a bezel for a manual transmission v8, but the description says it is for a v6. There is a difference.

Yeah the photo doesn't match the description but mines a v8 and the photo is for a v8 (can tell by the reverse location)

All the harnesses I can find only say for a 2010-2012 gauge not 2013?

Not sure about the harness. The Gen5diy.com crew should be able answer for you.

Yes the 2013 Gauge Console will work with the 2010 Camaro. You will need the harness for the 2010 Camaro. We do carry these in stock.

If your Camaro did not come with factory gauges then you will need both the harness and gauge console. We carry this in kit form. Plug and play. If you have any questions please let us know. 1-855-PHASTEK

I've spoken to the company that's just shipped it and they say it's a 2012 set of gauges. Would it be the same harness if it's 2012 or 2013?

Since you have a 2010 you will need the 2010 harness to make the gauges work properly. The 2013-2015 harness is different, plug into the passanger side area and the 2010-2012 harness is pluged under the center console.

Thank you,
Ricardo

I believe the gauges are the same and it is the part that connects to the car that is specific to 2010 like Phastek was saying.
