2010 Camaro inner windshield pillar pad molding

On the drivers side, my inner pillar pad molding keeps popping out of place every once in awhile. Once I push it back in, it will work it's way out after a few days. Is there a fix for this? I assume this is where the additional airbags are located on the driver/passenger side?

If your talking about the "A Pillar" plastic trim. It was a common problem on
the early 10's as I remember. The dealers were fixing it under the warranty.

If it was under warranty, then I suppose I am SOL? Have to pay out of pocket for this then?

Your Camaro is at least 7 years old ! They make some great adhesives
these days. Just a SMALL dab should do it, keeping the airbag in mind.

Yes of course. Now if this was a common problem then this should've been a recall was my suggestion nothing more.

Yes, there was a new replacement clip from GM, for the A-pillar piece you are talking about. I was having that issue years ago and got the new clip and never had the problem since. I DO NOT know the part number but some searching may bring it up.

took about 5 min to replace.

Today I was at the dealership asking about the A Pillar trim. Apparently they were not able to find anything under their bulletin regarding the issue that you stated they were fixing under warranty. However, on the plus side. a new A pillar trim with all new clips included only cost $40 each. I decided to order one for each side. Should arrive on Monday. Hopefully this fixes my issue.

They didn't have a replacement clip. However they had a whole new A Pillar Trim piece with all new clips included for $40. Not bad.

And by the way, the manual says to replace the clips each the panel is removed. You can buy the clips from fastener wholesalers for like $5-10 for a box.

hope it works for you. the clip attaching to the A-pillar is what is needed anyway. This should do the trick.

a little searching and I found it. There was a TSB on it.
