Exhaust design question?
I am planning on gettig the SW headers... I am planning on straight piping the exhaust. Would it be worth it to purchase the SW exhast to go with the headers and then just delete the mufflers? I'm just wondering if there would be that much of a difference in doing this to an aftermarket exhaust versus just keeping the stock exhaust and deleting the mufflers! Not so much for the gains if any, but more for the sound!

Worth it? Really depends on you. If all you want is sound, delete teh factory mufflers.
If you want sound with performance, and a way to go back to stock/sway in your stock exhaust, have a shop build you some straight pipes, or purchase the straight pipe setup. Or keep the stock mid pipe, and replace your mufflers and piping with our Magnaflow 16582 Competition straight pipe axle back exhaust setup. I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever setup you choose! Your Camaro deserves better than to shop up its mufflers! ![]() -AJ ECS Motorsports |
