How long to wait before using a car cover

Hey folks,

I am planning on getting a California Noah Cover for my car and am looking to use it in the garage to protect the car from the kids running around with their scooters and other toys. I have read it is suggested to not use a cover for a few months and was wondering on some feedback as to how much truth there is to this.

As an aside, anyone have a general best practice about when you shouldn't put the cover on the car, like is it a good idea to have the car out all day (not in rain or anything, just dry weather) and then come home and just throw the cover over it?

Thanks in advance...

Total BS, use it immediately. Paint process isn't the same as it once was, the paint is as cured as it will ever be by the time you take delivery. Be sure the car is clean before covering it. Pretty smple concept, dirt will abrade the finish. Califoprnia duster is good, a quick detailer before covering is better.

Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, William F. Buckley, and Pope John Paul II, let's just say they didn't believe in "spreading the wealth around" like some other "historic" individuals. I'll leave it at that to avoid opening a can of worms and violating forum rules...
