Ive always wondered, when there are new TSB's and/or recalls, does GM make the dealers service the cars that are still on the lot and haven't sold yet. Kind of like an "automatic update" so when one buys a car after the bulletins have been issued, they're getting the most up-to-date car. If they don't do this, I think they should.

They probably do it during dealer prep after it's sold.

yes we do updates or campains to cars on the lot when they are released

My dealer doesn't usually know about individual TSB'S so I doubt it.

recalls or campaigns in dealer speak are done on every car on the lot. TSB's are usually not done unless a customer mentions an issue related to them. Most TSB's state "a car in this VIN sequence may exhibit this condition" or something along those lines. TSB's may not apply to every vehicle in the VIN sequence, so typically they require a customer concern documentation.

We regularly service unsold vehicles as well as purchased vehicles.
