Great Mid-Morning Cruise Today

Was sitting out back drinking my coffee thinking how lucky I am to be retired and not have work on such a nice day. Decided it was a perfect day to take a little cruise down some of our county's back roads to relax, enjoy some good music and take in some of the great scenery around here. Since I had just detailed the Camaro, decided to stop at one point and take some new ‘glamor’ shots using a great background. Life doesn’t get any better.

I was stationed in Northern Utah (Ogden) for a few years while I was still in the military. After having to put up my Corvette and shoveling snow every winter, I swore when I got out I would never live in anywhere it snowed.

Great pics Welker! Unfortunately I'm not retired yet but at least I was able to drive my Camaro with the top down to work this morning - I actually look forward to my commute in this car - it almost makes me feel like I'm on vacation LOL

Interesting. I spent a few years at HAFB and swore, once I got east of the Mississippi River I'd never live in the west again. Keep in mind, my time near the Great Salt Lake was preceded by a year or so in Alaska, many years in So Cal and a few years in Vegas and Central Nevada. I wanted more greenery and I've had such for the last 26 years. Reckon snow is like that other white stuff. Effects vary.
