Attended the Dayton cars and Coffee yesterday and the turn out was incredible to say the least. There had to be well over a thousand cars and with the Joy Rides Car Club (JRCC) holding their spring meet. There were some very expensive exotic cars there, some probably approaching mil $.

The JRCC VIP club holds this event for special needs kids giving them rides in some very exotic cars. The looks on the kids faces was a joy to behold and everyone was having a great time.

Spent almost three hours there and did not see any other Z/28 there except mine. A lot of Corvettes, classic muscle and modern muscle were in attendance with more spectators than I have ever seen at a car meet.

What struck me the most was all the Corvette people that stopped at my car to ask questions. Some were somewhat condescending and I wondered why? One was almost wanting to argue with me about the price drop of the Z/28 and how it was a stripped car that rode terrible. Now the kicker, he asked me if my car was for sale and how much? But, most were very nice and just loved to talk cars.

They hold this CC every other Saturday at the Austin Landing. If you have never attended this meet I would recommend it.

Thanks for the post and the heads up about the C&C. I'm in NW Ohio but will try to make it down there for one of the shows.

Is the Austin Landing location in Miamisburg?

I'll be back in the NE area soon. My parents live out in Beavercreek near Dayton and I've never been to that C&F but I'd be down for going. The one in Columbus is pretty decent. There are always some interesting cars there.
