Rail car question

I called the rail number and they said the car was constructively placed. What does it mean?

I think bad ordered means something happened to the rail car. Hopefully no damage to YOUR car, but this will probably add a bit of time to delivery.

You got me nervous and called up the automated service, but I got lucky. My car was picked up by the dealer!

Bad order does mean something is mechanically wrong with the railcar. If you got the empty status first then it is empty. Chances are the big doors at the end of the railcar are broken. They break all the time. Could be anything, not your problem now. They do not empty one car into another to get yours fixed. Anything that has to be repaired intransit is usually to do with brakes or wheels which can be dealt with without unloading. I would say since you got the empty status your Camaro is now step closer to you!

Bad Order is bad as it relates to the rail car, not yor car.

I have een dealing with Bad Order for days and days ...

Mine eventually stated ... "Bad Order Defective Overhead Wheel Bearing"

Eventually, they said "repaired" and moved from Illinois to Kansas ... Just took a while.

For me ... I left Oshawa on the 9th and am now the 21st leaving East Kansas.

All that said, you're so close to LA now they should just truck it from Mira Loma ...
