K&N Wrapped

The car had the K&N intake on it when I bought it used.
I have noticed some high IAT at idle so I decided to wrap it.

This says that it is good for 400* direct heat and 2000* radiant heat.

It took the entire 15' roll to complete it, I used a razor to cut out the areas that I didn't want to cover. It has been on now for a month and has not peeled and the idle intake temps are now in line.

I was sitting at 169*(hp tuners) after driving and then sitting in the driveway. That is what made me want to do it. Now they hold about 10* above ambient temp in the same situation. So its a huge difference. (just tested it lol)

Also make sure to get the intake scoop, makes a huge difference while driving for the IAT temps.

I wrapped my intake and (Lol) my little brother's intake on his 2.0 Ecoboost Fusion and we both see between 4 and 10 degrees above ambient. Definitely works.
