Gforce,DSS,Strange
I'm at the point where I need to upgrade to a 4l80 and to do so I need the rear end to hold for the drag track. I will be coming out on the trans break and 2 step to help build boost. The big 3 that I'm looking at is the Strange s60 that you can get Gforce or DSS axles and drive shaft to go with. Both them companies also have their own 9 inch set up. Pros and cons of all 3 would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

This may or may not help but I had the Gforce 9" set up with a DSS carbon fiber driveshaft. Customer service was above and beyond for both.
I had one axle replaced under warranty by Gforce. Quick turnaround. No issues, no questions. I was running open exhaust for a bit and the heat caused the glue to melt on the driveshaft so it would spin on the rear end pinion. I sent the driveshaft back to DSS after calling and explaining what happened. I also told them I was not the original owner and bought it used. They told me to send it in. They reglued it, balanced it, and shipped it back for free even when I offered to pay. You can't go wrong with either one. |

For a 9" it's a horse a piece between dss and gforce.
The s60 is a great option as well with pros and cons when compared to the 9" When I was recently shopping for the exact same thing I googled 9" vs s60. There is a ton of info out there on them. FWIW, I went with a DSS 9"and there was a s60 available almost local.

I'm starting to lean DSS, it is the most expensive tho but I've found it for a decent price. Any dealers y'all recommend?
