Montana Run
I am planning a run to pick up my daughter in Montana and would like to know if anyone is interested in tagging along. It will be either the first or second week of June. (I'm waiting on the ex for an exact date.) I will be leaving the LA area, and taking the 15 all the way up. South of Great Falls I take the 89 to Glacier National Park. I drive through the park then through Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. I like to drive the coast from about SF down. This will be a ton of driving in a short time but its well worth it for anyone who hasn't done it. I have made this trip over 50 times and its been worth it each time. Depending on the exact route total mileage will be 3200-3800.

When you swing through Oregon, let us know and we'll meet up and head to Hwy 101 with you. I'm sure I can gather some others.
ps....Californians are cute...they refer to highways as "the".

I plan on doing a road trip sometime this summer as well.. From Utah to Washington State, seattle area then over to Port Angeles. then over to Hwy 101 all the way down the coast to Oregon. Then over to Medford to visit an old friend .. Back on the Hwy through Nevada into Utah home. lol..
I Love the Idea of a Montana Drive its my most favorite place especially Up by Glacier. I lived up there years ago and have many fond memories of living a Teepee for a year in a small town outside Glacier Park called Corum Montana. Hey is it spring yet ? I thought waiting for my car was a long time .. |

Speaking of tee-pees, I lived on the rez in Browning for two years. Once you have lived in MT it gets in in your blood. Truly the Last best place. This is an open invitation for a once in a lifetime trip.

Sounds fun
I was looking for another excuse to go to Spokane. I am in Great Falls; will plan on going as far as WA with you. Glacier is absolutely beautiful in June! Although it is a crap shoot on whether or not the Going to the Sun road is open yet. Keep me up to date! Where exactly is your ex? Ulm? My wife may even know her.
