Cheap bluetooth Phone/Music
Well like alot of you without bluetooth abilities in our cars i have read countless threads on trying to achieve this. Well for the most of what ive read you will spend ALOT of cash to get voice calling (pulling out dash and putting in chip) or go the cheaper route to just get music and still pay a hundred bucks.
So here is what im purposing. I have stumbled across this http://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTC450-...=Kinivo+BTC450 seems to be the best one out there (from what i have seen) granted i thought long and hard about this, no one wants an unsightly cig outlet cord or one running to the aux input (dont think they would reach anyways) So here is what im thinking, i have been under the shifter panel many times (gauge pack install, cupholder lights) and there seems to be no problem T-tapping into the cig power source. so if i slice off the cig adaptor t-tap to power source/slice off aux cable t-tap to aux wire would it work? effectively hiding all wires under the panel and have the unit itself go under side panel by driver seat. let me know what you guys think of this idea. I think it will be well hidden and if the unit is placed right next to the seat will look almost stock. hopefully i have found the solution. below is a paint picture to give an idea of what im talking about but im sure most of you already know.. plus i like to draw in paint. |
