2018 ZL1 inside hood rain gutter removal?

i hoping someone can assist, i am new to this site. i recently purchased a 2018 ZL1 convertible midnight fall color ...... love this car (previously owned 07' M6 with 10 cyl) . i have been wanting to remove the inside of the hood to have a custom paint job completed for car shows. I saw a post from 'CWebster' last night who referred to this as entire rain gutter. not sure if this is the correct term. for want i want to do. i dont want to remove the scope that shows on the outside of the hood, just the inside hood part . is this possible & if so how involved is the removal for DYI (with limited skills) appreciate any help
