Trunk Vents Solution
Did anyone come up with a viable trunk vent solution for the subs causing them to rattle? Ive seen some people take them out completely, others taped them closed etc. I have not been able to find what the results from all these were though. I know it stopped the noise but what about ill effects? Dust in trunk, water in trunk etc. Id like a solution that wouldn't have any ill effects but still cause the noise to go away. Thanks.

Look into aperiodic membranes. This is what the stereo guys use when venting speakers to the outside of their car in a true infinite baffle configuration.

Not looking to vent the speakers to the outside of the car, Im looking to stop the vents GM put in there from "rattling" when the subs hit.
