Tail light bezel removal
Installing my new technostalgia tail lights and having some trouble getting the bezels off. The tabs can break off very easily. I have the top tabs loose and can pull back on it but not getting the bottom to move at all. Not sure how much pressure it will take so thought I would get advice from someone who as already done it. I am guessing I just need to pull harder but wanted to check before I break something.
Thanks, Mr V |

Got it figured out. The trick was that when I pulled the top tabs out, the bottom tabs were binding. The bezel needed to stay pretty straight as you pull it out. I had the top tabs just barely popped out and using my cheap harbor freight nylon pry bar set was able to get the bottom tabs to pop out without damaging anything.

Bought a set several years ago when changing the radio in a 2007 Grand Prix. I have found that I use them for more than I ever realized I would--and I'm breaking far fewer parts/mounting tabs while leaving the surfaces unscarred. Great investment and minimal cost.
