Removing factory stripes?

Anyone had any luck or tried this? I've got silver stripes on mine and want to switch to black stripes.

Any thoughts?

There are a couple of threads on how and what to use to remove the stripes. Since they're not painted, it can be done.

use a hairdryer to warm the vinyl and slowly peel it off, take some glue remover (most auto parts places sell it) that is safe for clear coats and remove any remaining glue...
I have done this many times, the newer the stripes the easier they will come off too..

just rip them off dude. I did it twice. Let it sit in the sun for 30 minutes, and start peeling. its easy.. Use some zaino polish when your done to remove any sticky marks.
