Not sure if this is the right section please inform me if it’s not.

I bought my 2012 Camaro 1lt the 3.6l v6 about 3 or 4 months ago. Here’s a picture the day I picked it up.

Tonight I installed the zl1/1le spoiler and rear window louver.
Here’s some pics of those plus the plastidip I’ve done, hood wrap, and smoke lights.

I want to get all of your opinions/suggestions on what I’ve done so far and what I should do in the future!!


Performance mods:
Vittesse Throttle Controller
Muffler delete
Spectre Cold Air Intake

Aesthetic mods:
Plastidip side “Camaro” emblems
Plastidip Break light bezels
Plastidip Chevy Bow ties front and back
Vinyl 20% Smoked Headlights
Vinyl 20% Smoked Taillights
Vinyl Satin Black hood
Vinyl Sayin Black Gastank lid
Zl1/1le Rear Wing spoiler
Rally Racing Stripes removed on the back
Rear window louver

Don't ask for opinions so much IMO as taste is subjective, and its in what floats your boat and what you can afford and consider this, it may not always be "your Camaro", and you never get money back on mods. Because then people come along like me and honestly I liked the hi wing and the rally stripes you ripped off, think you should have gone with some aftermarket wheels maybe and a heritage grill, but from what you have done its obviously on a budget and the car is what it is. So frankly it only matters what you like. For example; heres my stripes and my louvers and my zl1 spoiler....LOL and F if you don't like them I don't care...……. cause opinions are like a holes...……….ROFL....




Yes I am different, you appear to like a more modern look from the sculpting of the rear wing and the plastic louvers and if that's what you like well that's what floats your boat, the deal is....this is not my first new 2ss I bought, and I have changed looks over and over as for me its a keeper and I am old. I have had multiple colors of hood spears and stripes and pin striping and emblems, even rocker stripes and etc etc....

I would recommend that you paint your own picture. Do what you feel is right for the look that’s in your head. Go to the various threads on this site........ There are plenty of ideas in Camaro5. There is a thread dedicated just to Gen5s that are your color. Great place to start. Love the mods that you have done so far.

Thank you for this! I’ve realized that I don’t need other people’s approval of a car I LIKE. They aren’t driving it I am , so again thank you for this! But what gave away my budget lmao I don’t think my car looks “cheap”?
