Solid roller done and ready, stock sbe

So its finally done, after a week of chasing some electrical problems (1st I learned that oem relays arent the same as aftermarket; 85 and 86 are inverted, 2nd a loose ground drove me close to crazy; car was instantly stalling under load around 4800rpm), and fixing coolant leaks by the rear steam vent plugs cause aftermarket heads (FED custom 262cc TFS).

Then had to buy Taylor 409 race truck wires cause the header's flanges are too close to plugs now and the plugs were just sitting on the flanges. Taylor wires are the good right now; the car felt immediately better and smoother, along with brand new TR6s. I suspect I had 3 bad wires adn thats why my car felt slower at the end of the last season.

I had to flush oil twice cause the T&D rockers hit the stock valve covers baffles, even with a .5inch spacers!, and metal residus had fallen on topend (idled 4mins). Cleaned that for 3 hours with Qtips and rags then new oil. Then the relay problem was a disaster and the car fell into limp mode and couldnt idle anymore and the car ended up flooded; oil was smelling gas like crazy. Flushed that too. Now I am putting my Zrod and new filter now that everything is fine.

DRIVABILITY
I drove the car and did a WOT run...this thing rev like thjere is no tomorrow!! Before, the car felt it was difficult over 6800. Now it revs better at 7500 than before at 6500!
Car is kinda smoother than before, and it feels stronger in the lower rpm with the bigger solid roller cam! I would really need gears cause I hit high speed just in 3rd!
The car is a joy, lets hope this sbe endure whatever is comin this season. But seriously, its all in the valvetrain setup, cause now I feel its smoother over 7k and the ls3 almost seems like it was made for this!

Lash is 0 cold(some preload on the adjustment so its not too loud at idle)
Hot is 0.010.

POWER
I can safely say there is more than 50hp over my last setup. I feel more tq too and the powerband last forever. I will rev easily to 8k.

It is very quiet!! Quieter with some preload into it I guess. I'll download a video.

As soon as I can. I texted my friend who has a dyno. For now, the car is showing 667hp on dashlogic, last year was 593hp, this dashlogic is on point! Torque seems good too, I saw 485+ on the screen.

The car only has a base tune. I hope to gain some up top, maybe 675 is possible. I called it

In all honesty, the car will suck at the track because it needs a SS trans with a 4.10 to perform. I could easily pass the 1/4 in 3rd gear with 28inch tires right now...

Why not put a TH400 and some 4.10s behind it and call it a day? Is yours a drag or track car?

If you have a extra 6k laying around, put in a 4.56 Strange diff in it, that will get it revving.

hahaha, best scenario. It would be soo nice..even then I'd need to swap for a regular SS trans ont top of that or more agressive gears. I do hit 60mph in 1st gear now, at 8k rpm :O
