Where is airbag module located and how to remove?

On my Camaro 2012 I need to replace the airbag module. But where to find the module and how to remove it? I guess it's in the console somewhere?

It’s not under passenger seat?

No, not the airbag module. I should be somewhere in the center console, need to know if it's in the rear or front of the console and how to remove it.

It is under the console. You have to remove the console for the airbag sensing and diagnostic module
  1. Remove the right and left front floor console side cover assemblies.
  2. Remove the front floor console rear cover. Remove the front floor console front cover assembly.
  3. Remove the transmission control lever knob, if equipped with a automatic transmission.
  4. Remove the transmission control lever knob, if equipped with a manual transmission.
