Objects in Mirror...

So I just noticed that my passenger mirror says "objects in mirror appear...." and my driver mirror does not. Is this the same with every camaro or did GM screw up? (I noticed this while putting on my "objects in mirror are losing" decals)

I just laid the decal right over the top of the other one. Its already dark outside so I can really tell how it looks. Ill post up a picture tomorrow when its light out. I figure if it looks bad I can always just peel it off.

Uh, EVERY North American production car, truck, and SUV has had this label on the passenger mirror since the mid-1970's..... EVERY SINGLE ONE.

It's a DOT requirement since the passenger mirror is actually convex to show more area due to the fact it is far away from the driver. So, things appear slightly farther away than they actually are because there is more area reflected in the same size than there is in the driver's mirror.

You need more of a "WIDE ANGLE MIRROR" in the passenger mirror since you're further away from it.

The driver's mirror, well, you're close enough to it to get a wide view.

I'm very surprised that people just don't get this concept.
