Track trip

Couple weeks ago I changed my crappy 275/40/20 nitto invos to 295/35/20 nitto 555g2 tires, had to test them out, went to the track, on the way there I was in 6th gear and tried accelerating and the clutch started slipping 🤦*♂️🤦*♂️🤦*♂️ I was pissed, well we still went I wasn’t gonna run but I had a bunch of buddies show up so I let it cool down good and made a few passes, I was down 10-12 mph on my normal trap speed, but I managed to do my best 60ft and 1/8 mike time, 1.9 60, and 7.9 1/8 on a hard tire 12.2 @114, so my mid 11 didn’t happen but we are getting closer, and with the clutch fixed I think it’s gonna happen.
