O2 sensor issue.

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone has had this issue or some advice for it.

HP Tuners was showing Bank 1 sensor 1 was bad. So I was able to replace it today. I’ve done 2 test logs now. Just short drives down the driveway. While driving the sensor is working. Once I come to a stop the sensor stops working.
I’m going to check the wiring and see if there’s any bad spots. My tuner said to recheck to make sure I torqued it down enough. I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had anything similar or any theories?

I'd be checking the wiring like you said. It is also not unheard of for an O2S to be faulty out of the box.

That’s a good point.

What about weak battery or battery issues? When I put the new injectors in I disconnected the batteries. Since then I’ve had to go”retighten” the post each time before starting it. It wasn’t loose. But something about messing with the post got it started.

Make sure the wires didn't get melted by the headers
