FID injectors??
Hey guys I’m doing an LSA conversion on my car. I order the kit with FID 1100’s,When the injectors arrived I did get “FID’s” but they are “Fuel injector development”brand. Now I’m no expert but when most people order FID’s it’s “fuel injector dynamics” correct? Has anyone had experience with this brand by chance? Are they easy to tune? Should I send them back? Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Most of the site isn't even done. The FID 1100's are Bosch EV14 based High Impedance fuel injectors utilizing the latest in fuel injector technology. They come in sets that are matched within 1% static (I.E. Full Flow) and 2% dynamically (I.E. being pulsed). This matching process provides great cylinder to cylinder consistency. The matching process combined with the fast response and linearity of this injector produces amazing idle qualities, excellent drivability, and smoothness not found in other injectors of this size. Also, what you thought; it's "Injector Dynamics" (ID)? Not really Fuel Injector Dynamics? http://injectordynamics.com/ They're also made Bosch based. The FIDs you got, if you wanted to go by description and performance, you got better ones because they're matched sets. |

You got cheap injectors. They could work fine, but you need more data from them. They certainly aren't ID injectors with tons of data. I've never heard of these, it's usually FIC (connection, not clinic I believe) who are #2 behind ID

Just make sure the tuner knows which injectors you have. I have FIC 1300s and the tuner tuned them as ID 1300s. The car never ran right. I had the car retuned a month ago and it runs like a top now. The tuner is just as important as the parts.
