2021 ZL1

I bought a new ZL1 and was a dumbass and didn't read the owners manual because I was so excited. Drove it hard the first 100 miles and then realized there is probably a break in period. No issues with the car, just nervous I may have done some damage. My oil had a little fuel smell so I changed it yesterday. Someone on here give me some confidence that everything is going to be okay...
Geez I feel stupid, but the car - bad ass!

Great purchase. I don't think you have anything to worry about. You kinda did an 'ol school break-in. The theory used to be if you baby it initially it will always be a pup. Don't know if that was ever verified on a dyno but for a while (say the 1950s-60s) that was the prevailing wisdom. I see you've got a '21 ZL1, you may want to post over in the GEN 6 forum to get more relevant responses. And don't be shy about posting pics!
