Oil leak on dyno??

Hello! I have a 2022 ZL1 that I recently put Kooks longtubes, Rotofab cold air intake, and Borla exhaust on. Well this afternoon I had it dynotuned and the first pull went perfect for baseline run, no issues. Then he adjusted air/fuel for the lean codes, and removed the cats from the PCM. Second pull(581hp@6500 RPMS) the front main starting spraying oil at the top of the RPM range. He shut it down, cleaned it all up and the leak is gone at idle. So lthen he asked me what he wanted me to do(I had a hour drive home), and I just said cruise it at 70 for a few miles then punch it to 110 and let it decel, just to see if it leaked at all during driving conditions. Nothing, we looked it over THOROUGHLY, I drove it home and it runs perfect, no leaks no nothing.

Has anyone heard of this?? Any idea what could have happened, what should I do before trying to finish the tune.

Front main as in timing cover? Never heard of that on a 5th gen, you need to post on the 6th Gen forum. On a quick note, leaks don’t fix themselves.

No Pullies, so standard boost so that shouldn't happen unless they got some massive block with the borla.

Did u install a crankcase breather in lieu of of oil cap to relive excessive oil pressure?

Probably this. Many put the LS3 seal in to replace the stock one. Ck camaro6.com

Maybe shouldn't be, but I can't think of a better explanation.

Very new car, maybe the rings aren't totally sealing yet. Or some other issue new to that model year. Easy enough to measure crankcase pressure.

Did you pull the dipstick tube to put in the headers? I bet that's your leak.

Then it would still be leaking, Especially on his way home and he said it isn’t.

I think it is excessive crankcase pressure also!

I use the CFM breather with check valve and have had no more issues, it only vent excess pressure.

Yeah but that leak would be nowhere near the front crank seal.
